The day was just beginning, and as usually….a normal good day. That is until I was checking my e-mail, and came across something that interested me! I am not a gullible person, but this day seemed to be getting better. This was due to a long time friends response to answering my question! It was personal, so I will keep it that way! I was ecstatic, and I felt myself falling for what was before me! Yes! I knew it was love at first chat! Oh my! Was I wrong….!
After communicating for least a month with my friend known for about a year, I felt it was time to take the relationship to another level. This was exciting and eventful to receive e-mail from such a angel! For some reason, after I swallowed the hook, line, and sinker, I notice a change from madly in love from her, to “save me” thru monetary means! The tingling down my spine was sending alarm bells, and sirens a blare-ing! I was soon filling constriction in my chest, stressful work days, an dysfunctional attitude quickly approaching. What was happening? Once I recognized more red flags thru e-mail, I immediately needed fresh air to breath, and I felt a need to get to the bottom of this!
After investigating the e-mail IP, plus other important leads, I was devastated, mad, and of course another poor fool almost scammed! Fortunately I didn’t lose too much money during the scam attempt! Only money I lost, I found worth its weight in gold! I purchase some anti scammer tools, armed myself with ample common sense, and a lesson learned. The scammer was using stolen pics of a woman I fell in love with! She is an up and coming star named Melissa Roy! A very beautiful person, model, actress! She has no connection with the scammers! It looks very promising for her, and I wish her luck! Boy, did I have high hopes! Better to fall, then be in love blindly! And get this…… the girl was really a guy from Ghana posing to be someone (Melissa Roy) he was not! Wow! Knocked me for a loop! First time will be the last…..I promise me! So I suggest to look before you leap my friends, and exhale, while there is still air to breath, with eyes open! Leaping before you look, can be dangerous for your health!
